BAE Systems Selects
Position Integrity for its Unmanned Air Vehicle System
December
24, 1997 BAE Systems (Ontario CA) today
selected Position Integrity to provide its Tactical Video Map System Software in
support of its fleet of Skyeye Unmanned Air Vehicles in a Foreign Military
Contract to Cairo, Egypt. The Skyeye
UAV has an electro-optical payload for performing low altitude surveillance
across large geographic areas. Position
Integrity is providing the software to be used by the ground controllers to
control the UAV in flight, track its position, and view the dynamic ground
footprint of the surveillance sensor. A
total of four ground control stations are being delivered with several UAVs
with each ground station. For
