Major Avionics Manufacturer begins Business Jet Glass Cockpit Prototype with PI ASDB

Today Position Integrity LLC accepted a contract award to provide its Aviation Safety DataBase (ASDB) to a significant firm in the aeronautics industry.  Under the terms of the agreement signed the names of the company involved would not be released until after the new product line which this database supports will be released to the public.  Position Integrity will be providing IFR vector elements from its global repository of data in custom formats. 

 

The teaming is strategic to PI because it give added exposure to its global aeronautical products into the business jet niche of the aviation community.  Under an accelerated schedule, prototyping and data delivery will occur in time to support flight tests in a new glass cockpit design slated for delivery to end user later this year.

 

A more elaborating press release is being prepared for joint release by both companies later in the year.
