Position Integrity Delivers Aeronautical Data, Software, and Services to Honeywell

Phoenix AZ.  Position Integrity, LLC (PI) (www.positionintegrity.com) delivered its Airspace and Communication Format Utility in support of Honeywell's Primus Epic avionics system for business jets and regional airliners.  This software allows conversion of ARINC-424 airspace and communication data into a format directly usable by the Primus Epic INAV software.  The module was developed in the platform-independent JAVA language and was written in compliance with ARINC 424-15 industry standards. This delivery results from the cumulative efforts between Position Integrity and Honeywell over the last 2 years to bring the best value and performance in increased situational awareness through technology to Honeywell Primus Epic INAV customers.

 

Position Integrity's airspace data is integrated into the primary INAV display views.  Honeywell is currently testing its Primus Epic INAV system slated for Gulfstream GV, GIVSP and Dassault Falcon 900EASY, and 2000EASY business jets.

 

Also announced today, Position Integrity is working to integrate an Airport Communication module based on the same technical architecture designed and developed for the Airspace Format Module.  Position Integrity's Chief Architect, Jesse Lund, describes the architecture as "extensible enough to accommodate the translation of virtually all types of aeronautical data, including those for other Honeywell Flight Management Systems (FMS)."
