Overview
In cooperation with our partner, a major avionics corporation who cannot be named due to contractual obligations, and our U.S. government sponsors, Position Integrity is developing a global digital database of terminal procedures. Included will be Instrument Approach Procedures (IAPs), Standard Terminal Arrivals (STARs) and Departure Procedures (DPs). This dataset is being developed using advanced object-oriented database and software facilities and will soon be made available to the GA community. The end-product promises to be the most advanced computer-based worldwide terminal procedures database ever produced.
